REFUND INFORMATION

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND WARRANTY

If you purchase products or services on Pieve dei Medici Shop, you have the legal right to withdraw from the contract without giving reasons, within 14 days.
The withdrawal period expires after 14 days from the day the User or a third party-other than the carrier and designated by the User-gains physical possession of the goods. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the User must inform the Owner of the decision to withdraw by an explicit statement sent to both contacts in the appropriate section of the website.

EFFECTS OF WITHDRAWAL

If the User withdraws from this contract, the User shall be refunded all payments he/she has made to the Holder, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs arising from any choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered) without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days after the day on which the Holder is informed of the User’s decision to withdraw from this contract. Said refunds shall be made using the same means of payment used by the User for the initial transaction, unless the User has expressly agreed otherwise, or through bank details requested by the Owner from the User; in any case, the User shall not incur any costs as a result of such refund. Refunds may be suspended until receipt of the goods or until the User demonstrates that he or she has returned the goods, whichever is earlier.
The User is requested to return the goods and deliver them to the Holder without undue delay and in any case within 14 days from the day on which he communicated his withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if the User returns the goods before the expiration of the 14-day period. The costs of returning the goods will be anticipated by the User, but will be reimbursed by the Owner in the manner and within the limits indicated above charged to the User. The User is liable only for diminution in the value of the goods resulting from handling the goods other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and operation of the goods.

LIMITATIONS ON THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Returned products found to be damaged or used in a manner other than and in addition to what is strictly necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and operation will be refunded after deduction of the decrease in value resulting from the damage or use. Refund is excluded when the decrease in value is total.
The User is requested to place a copy of the delivery document received inside the package.
The right of withdrawal is in any case excluded in relation to:
Custom-made or clearly customized goods;
The supply of goods that are likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
The provision of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for hygienic or health protection-related reasons and have been opened after delivery.
Should any of the above exceptions apply to the goods purchased by the User, the User will not be able to exercise the right of withdrawal.

Applicability of withdrawal clauses
The clauses concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal, as well as their consequences and exceptions, apply exclusively to the User who qualifies as a consumer, i.e. the User acting for purposes unrelated to his or her business or professional activity.

WARRANTY

The User who purchases as a consumer has the right of warranty on the conformity of the purchased products and services within the limits of 12 months after purchase provided that notice is given within 2 months after their discovery.
To exercise the warranty right, the User must contact the Owner at the contact information contained herein, giving an accurate description of the defect found.
If a lack of conformity of the product is established, the User has the right to have the product repaired or replaced, at his/her option.

The User also has the right to request from the Holder a reasonable reduction in price or termination of the contract in the following cases:
Should repair and replacement prove impossible or unduly burdensome;
If the Holder has not repaired or replaced the good within a reasonable period, but not less than 15 days;
If the replacement or repair previously carried out has caused significant inconvenience to the User.
The User is still required to return defective products.

SHIPPING POLICY

Pieve dei Medici accepts orders with delivery to Italy (including islands) and Europe .
The shipment of the good shall take place within the maximum time, if any, specified in the conditions of the offer.
Delivery times can also be indicated before completing the purchase process in the shopping cart summary or on the product page. This information is indicative and does not represent a certain date, as it is not always possible to foresee possible delays due to the courier company in charge of delivery to the Customer.
The User will be notified, if available, of the name of the courier and the tracking code of the shipment (Waybill or “Tracking”), through which it will be possible to follow its status.
Shipping costs vary according to weight. The lower the quantity purchased, the more shipping costs will affect the total. For this reason, Pieve dei Medici among the options also includes on-site pickup for people who have the option of picking up products directly from the company.
All delivery information, tax and duty details, and shipping destination will be displayed in the shopping cart.
